About teacher

Nithin Xavier is the founder and lead teacher at Praana Yoga Studio. With over eight years of full-time teaching experience, Nithin has guided more than 3,000 students from around the world — offering yoga not just as a physical discipline, but as a deeply personal journey of self-awareness and transformation.He is a certified yoga teacher with a solid academic background, and a lifelong student of movement, discipline, and introspection. His practice is rooted in traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa, shaped by years of consistent self-practice, and informed by a clear understanding of modern biomechanics, alignment, and the subtle energies of yoga.
Nithin’s teaching is intuitive yet structured, firm yet compassionate. He adapts his approach to suit each student’s body, background, and intention — making every class feel personal, grounded, and uplifting.
His work has taken him across borders, including leading workshops and private sessions in Japan, where his clarity, calm presence, and cultural sensitivity were warmly received. Yet whether teaching abroad or on the rooftop in Kochi, Nithin brings the same depth of care, curiosity, and connection to his students.

What sets him apart is not just skill, but discipline, humility, and a sincere dedication to sharing yoga as a way of life — not just something you do on the mat.
